The San Francisco Farm, the hub of the family business, not only produces coffee but also protects a forest reserve, donated to the NationalForestry Association of El Salvador to conserve an exotic habitat.

Located in the fertile volcanic soils of Apaneca - Ilamatepec at 1,350-1,450 m.a.s.l., Andrés' family grows coffee in the shade, and the ripe beans are harvested by hand, like any good specialty coffee.
