Technology
La Co2 decaffeination begins with soaking the green coffee beans in water to open the pores of the beans and facilitate the absorption of Co2. Next, the beans are placed in a pressurized chamber, where Co2, which acts as a gas and liquid, extracts the caffeine highly effectively ensuring a clean, flavor-rich coffee with an intact flavor profile. Caffeine-rich Co2 is separated from the beans and recycled, minimizing environmental impact. After treatment, the beans are dried and roasted, ready to become a decaffeinated coffee superior quality.
