The first fresh harvest has arrived and this year we start with a coffee from the province of Jaén in Cajamarca. This lot was cultivated by Nilber and Diana Tarrillo and their son Yerison on their 1 hectare farm between 1800 and 2000 meters above sea level.
It is made from the Catuai variety and is fermented for about 60 hours before being washed and dried in the sun for 15 days.
Nilber is a third generation coffee farmer, who starts this farm from an inheritance and provides the only income for the family. For this reason Nilber is ambitious to improve quality, agricultural practices and the cup of coffee.
